Oatmeal Breakfast Bowl


I’m an aspiring #fitchick and the hardest part about getting that ‘perfect body’ isn’t working out, its feeding my body the right foods.

My go to breakfast food item is oatmeal with varying toppings to switch things up every so often. I love oatmeal and the health benefits make it all worth it.

Oatmeal Breakfast Bowl

1/2 cup old fashion oats
2 tbsp wheat germ
1 cup almond milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
dash of cinnamon
1 tbsp chia seeds
handful pecan halves
handful blackberries & blueberries
almond slices crushed.

Combine the first five ingredients in microwavable bowl and microwave for 1:30 – 2 mins. Remove from microwave carefully and stir in chia seeds.
Top with pecan halves, blueberries, blackberries and sliced almonds.

Remember – you can add what ever topping your heart desires.
